Our 6 step program

Our 6 step fertilizer program is designed for early spring green up with supplied nutrients and weed control throughout the year to promote healthy, weed free lawns all year long

Application 1

March-April

A granular slow release fertilizer is applied for early spring greening along with broadleaf weed control to any weeds present

Application 2

April-May

A pre-emergent granular is applied to create a barrier from crabgrass with broadleaf weed control to any weeds present

Application 3

May-June

A granular slow release fertilizer is applied for continued growth with broadleaf and grassy leaf control applied to weeds present in lawn

Application 4

June-July

A granular slow release fertilizer with insecticide is applied for control of white grub and sod webworm with broadleaf and grassy leaf control applied to weeds present

Application 5

July-August

A granular slow release fertilizer is applied with broadleaf and grassy leaf control applied to weeds present

Application 6

September-October

A granular slow release winterizing fertilizer is applied for long lasting nutrients through winter with broadleaf weed control applied to weeds present

Fall Aeration

Aeration services are provided in the fall to promote root growth and lessen thatch in lawn while also helping to germinate grass seed

Fall Overseed

Fall overseeding coats the lawn with grass seed in late fall allowing germination to occur with early spring moisture

Iron Application

An application of iron leads to a healthy dark green lawn while also used to dry out mossy areas of the lawn
